Wildlife is so abundant in the park it would be

difficult for us to list everything.  In this section

we choose to highlight certain wildlife “events”.

There is a complete list of flora and fauna

located on the home page menu.  The park is

home to twenty-five species of mammals, 21

species of reptiles, and an overwhelming 300

species of birds.  Best time for alligator viewing

is during months with milder climates.  Summer

viewing is best in the early mornings or late

evenings.  Alligators are not active during

extreme temperatures.
