  • 8:00 a.m.     -     Bird Hike    -     Start your day at 40 Acre Lake with a guided bird hike alongside of a park volunteer.   Don't forget to bring your binoculars, field guides, and your water!

  • 9:00 a.m.    -    Pup Parade    -    Bring your pups to take part in this holiday parade on the Creekfield trail.  Don't forget to dress them up and bring a leash.

  • 10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.    -    Elf Hike    -    Join us at the Burr Oak by Pilant Slough sign.   Hike down Pilant Slough to capture all the elves you can. &nbs Well! capture with a photo only and display for finds to the park volunteer when you return.

  • 10:00 a.m.                     -     Game Warden   -    Come talk to a real Texas Game Warden.

  • 10:00 a.m                     -     Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Center   -    Learn the importance of wildlife rehabilitation.

  • 10:00 a.m                     -     Brazoria County Master Naturalist    -    Come learn all about being a Master Naturalist.

  • 10:00 a.m                     -     Coastal Plains Master Naturalists    -    Come learn all about being a Master Naturalist.

  • 11:15 a.m                     -     Alligators! Alligators!   -    Join us in the Amphitheater for an Alligator presentation by a Park Ranger.   Everything you ever wanted to know about Brazos Bend’s most popular resident.

  • 1:00 p.m.                     -     Audubon Society   -    Come by the Amphitheater for this great presentation of live birds.

  • 2:15 p.m.                     -     Snakes   -    Come by the Amphitheater to learn more about the animal that people love to hate and how we need them as much as they need us they use them.

  • 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.    -    What Owls Eat   -    Look inside an owl pellet to discover the life of this night creature.

  • 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.    -    Seed Bombs   -    Learn to build your own bird feeder.

  • 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.    -    Christmas Craft    -    Come by the tables and build you own Christmant ornaments.

  • 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.    -    Mr. and Mrs. Santa   -     Santa is here just for you.   What is on your Christmas list?

  • 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.    -    Hayrides    -    Join us to enjoy a seasonal hayride approximately 45 minutes long.

  • 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.    -    Brazos River Pickers    -    Enjoy a live bluegrass music performance at the Amphitheater.

  • 5:00 p.m. til we're out    -    Smores    -    Marshmallow roasting / s'more making.

    Bring a picnic supper to enjoy under the Christmas lights.
